That bill passed the Senate with only three republicans joining all dems and independents to vote against it.
The news says it “faces hurdles in the house”
I don’t believe those are real hurdles. I believe it will pass the House with no issues.
We should all be concerned about this “Big Beautiful (horrendous) Bill”
And my hope is limited about midterms doing anything to shift our current Congress. Not in majority, but in having the balls to do something meaningful.

Google is actually going to change the name of Gulf of Mexico to gulf of America on maps, a duck farm had to euthanize their entire 100k flock due to bird flu, the CDC was ordered to stop working with WHO immediately, USAID staff are being targeted AFTER all international aid was pulled EXCEPT for Israel and Egypt, and DeepSeek essentially told us our current U.S. based AI models ain’t bout sh**.
